This web site is a collection of just a few of the many prayers, motivational writings, poems quotations and humourous items which have helped, inspired, amused and often just kept me 'hanging on in there' with hope - sometimes with my fingertips!  Some are already much exchanged by e-mail and there are helpful items contributed by others.
You are very welcome and invited to explore. There is a widely based faith and spiritual theme to much of the material but please don't let this stop you from dipping in and I hope finding much that is helpful whatever your beliefs. (see below)
I am a Christian and this site, created as part of my own continuing therapy and fight to be well again, is a simple sharing outreach offered with humility and love to anyone in need and is as such a small witness to my frequently stumbling attempt to understand the healing power of faith, prayer and of attempting to living the teaching of Jesus Christ, experiencing a little of His immense love for all of us, if only we would let him!  Faith which despite my weaknesses (they are allowed - we are pilgrims on a journey) has nevertheless helped me survive against the odds in times of deep personal adversity and ill health. I'm glad to be able to share this site with you.
There is an ecumenical, non-denominational intention here. I'll try marking some links to indicate the "heavier" prayers etc.Cross
I will attempt to loosely categorise and add to the site as often as possible  - Please send your contributions - Lightkeeper
