Ten tips for a more positive mental attitude

  1. Take a closer look at your problems and see them as they really are, and not worse than they need be.
  2. Decide that you have the power to change any problem, eventually.
  3. Keep looking for solutions.
  4. Stop negative criticism.
  5. Think for yourself but never throw away a valuable opinion. If it makes sense, use it.
  6. Avoid putting others down including yourself.
  7. In times of crisis and upset, keep saying to yourself, "take positive action".
  8. Remember; the mistakes of your past are not the same as your efforts for the future.
  9. Revise something inspiring.
  10. Invest your time and money in making yourself a better person. buy a book (borrow one from a friend or a library); listen to your favourite music etc.
