OF THE ROSARY

1. The Agony in the Garden (Matt.26.36-46)

And his sweat became as drops of blood running down upon the ground. And rising up from prayer he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow.

 

2. The Scourging at the Pillar (Matt.27.17-26)

Pilate then took Jesus and had him scourged.

 

3. The Crowning With Thorns (Matt.27.27-30)

And they stripped him and put him in a scarlet cloak; and plaiting a crown of thorns they put it on his head, and a reed into his right hand.

 

4. Jesus Carries His Cross (Matt.27. 31-32) (John 19,17)

And bearing the cross for himself, he went forth to the place called the skull, in Hebrew, Golgotha.

 

5. The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord. (John 19.17-42) Luke 23, 46)

And Jesus cried out with a loud voice and said, “Father into thy hands I commend my spirit”. And having said this, he expired.
