Our Lady of Medjugorje - monthly messages - Year 2003 The visionaries testify that Vicka, Marija and Ivan continue to have daily apparitions, and Mirjana, Ivanka and Jakov each have an annual apparition (although Mirjana is now having frequent apparitions on the 2nd of the month). Thank you for having responded to my call."Click here for the official commentary on this message and also the monthly reflection Annual Apparition to Jakov on December 25th 2003 At the last daily apparition to Jakov Colo on September 12th, 1998, Our Lady told him that henceforth he would have one apparition a year, every December 25th, on Christmas Day. This is also how it was this year. The apparition began at 3:15 pm and lasted 8 minutes. Our Lady gave the following message: "Dear children! Today, when in a special way, Jesus desires to give you His peace, I call you to pray for peace in your hearts. Children, without peace in your hearts you cannot feel the love and joy of the birth of Jesus. Therefore, little children, today in a special way, open your hearts and begin to pray. Only through prayer and complete surrender, will your heart be filled with the love and peace of Jesus. I bless you with my motherly blessing."
Message of October 25, 2003 "Dear children! I call you anew to consecrate yourselves to my heart and the heart of my Son Jesus. I desire, little children, to lead you all on the way of conversion and holiness. Only in this way, through you, we can lead all the more souls on the way of salvation. Do not delay, little children, but say with all your heart: “I want to help Jesus and Mary that all the more brothers and sisters may come to know the way of holiness.” In this way, you will feel the contentment of being friends of Jesus. THE CELEBRATION OF THE 22nd ANNIVERSARY OF OUR LADY’S APPARITIONS IN THE PARISH OF MEDJUGORJE During the last 22 years, Our Lady’s message of peace was spread all over the world through pilgrims, reached homes all over the world, and made a parish of the world out of Medjugorje. This is confirmed by the presence of more than 80 000 faithful who came to Medjugorje for the 22nd anniversary. It is impossible to enumerate all of the countries where the pilgrims came from. They came from all the five continents. Very many local pilgrims came on their bare feet to pray to the Queen of Peace for peace. In the morning of June 24th and June 25th, Holy Masses were celebrated in 16 languages. During these two days, 24 000 communions were distributed. The evening Mass on June 24th was presided by Fr. Gabriel Mioc and concelebrated by 135 priests. About 15 000 faithful were present. The evening Mass on June 25th was presided by Fr. Miro Sego, and concelebrated by 180 priests from approximately twenty countries. About 35 000 faithful were present.

Below is the official English translation of Mirjana's Annual March 18 birthday apparition with Our Lady, as provided by the Information Center in Medjugorje.. 18.03.2003. - The visionary Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo had daily apparitions from June 24th 1981 to December 25th 1982. During the last daily apparition, Our Lady gave her the 10th secret, and told her that she would appear to her once a year, on the 18th of March. It has been this way through the years. This year several thousand pilgrims gathered to pray the Rosary at the Cenacolo Community in Medjugorje. The apparition lasted from 8:55 a.m. to 9:02 a.m. and Our Lady gave the following message:
Message of February 25, 2003 "Dear children! Also today I call you to pray and fast for peace. As I have already said and now repeat to you, little children, only with prayer and fasting can wars also be stopped. Peace is a precious gift from God. Seek, pray and you will receive it. Speak about peace and carry peace in your hearts. Nurture it like a flower which is in need of water, tenderness and light. Be those who carry peace to others.
