Fr.
Ivan Landeka, ofm - Franciscan priest, member of the
Hercegovinian Franciscan province. He was born in 1954 in Rastovaca,
Posusje, Hercegovina. He attended elementary school in Posusje,
and attained his baccalaureate in the Franciscan classical lyceum in
Visoko. He entered in the Franciscan
order in 1973.
He studied theology in Sarajevo and Augsburg (Germany).
He was ordained priest in 1981. Until 1988, he lived and worked in the
parish of Humac, and from 1988 to 2000 in the parish of Medjugorje. He
is the author of numerous articles linked to the events of Medjugorje,
and of the
book "Glas Mira" from Medjugorje. At present, he is parish
priest in Humac.
Fr.
Ljubo Kurtovic, OFM, was born on January 7, 1969 in Mostar. He
grew up and attended primary school in Drinovci and secondary school
in Grude. He entered in the Franciscan
order in 1989 in Humac-Ljubuški.
He studied theology in
Zagreb and Bologna (Italy). He was ordained a deacon in 1995 and a
priest on July 13th, 1996. He served as parish vicar for four years in
Humac. He has been in Medjugorje since August 2000.
Since Fr. Slavko
Barbaric's death on Nov 24, 2001, Fr. Ljubo has been writing the
monthly reflection on Our Lady's monthly messages.
